The International Chamber of Commerce Bangladesh (ICCB) said 45 bankers from Thailand and 17 from Cambodia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal and Vietnam will also participate. 
The ICCB is hosting the workshop with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and ICC Thailand. 
The main objective is to let Bangladeshi bankers interact with their counterparts in Thailand and better understand international trade financing, including ICC rules and tools they can use to conduct secure and successful trade and finance deals. 
ICCB president Mahbubur Rahman will attend the workshop and secretary general Ataur Rahman is in charge of coordination.

International finance workshop begins in Bangkok

Fifty-three bankers from 17 commercial banks will participate in a three-day workshop on international trade finance beginning today (December 21) in Bangkok.
