Sunflowers in full glory at Nakhon Pathom temple

A temple in Nakhon Pathom has 100,000 sunflowers in full bloom and posed for spectacular photos.

Phra Khru Pathomsadhuwat, abbot of Wat Si Yaek Charoenporn, said everyone is welcome to roam the four-rai field of sunflowers free of charge.
The flowers were planted in front of temple as an offering to the Lord Buddha and to make merit for His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn, the abbot said.
People travelling along Kamphaeng Saen-Panom Thuan Road are welcome to make a rest stop to admire the scene and make merit at the temple, he said, adding that the flowers would remain in bloom until mid-month.
