SCB refunds transfer fees after PromptPay failure
SCB has taken measures in the wake of a technical glitch in the PromptPay system between 7am and 4pm on December 31 to ensure that all payments reached recipients.
“SCB fully understands the importance of financial transactions during the festive season on the last day of the year,” it said in a press release on Thursday.
“To offer our apology and demonstrate our responsibility, SCB is waiving and refunding all transfer fees to all customers performing transactions via ATMs, the SCB Easy app and SCB Easy Net during that period.”
