Man electrocuted by anti-theft wire in Pathum Thani

An employed man who was fishing in a ditch was electrocuted after he apparently slipped and fell onto an anti-theft electric wire at a plant shop in Pathum Thani.

The body of Likhit Khamwichit, 27, was found by a shop worker on Talingchan-Suphan Buri road in Tambon Na Mai in Pathum Thani's Lard Lum Kaew district at 8.45pm.
A doctor who accompanied police to the scene estimated that the man died about 24 hours before his body was found.
His friend told police that the man had come to stay with him recently after his wife left him and he lost his job. The friend said Likhit left his house to go fishing on Sunday evening.
Police said the shop would face legal action for using a live wire that killed a person.
