Robinson runs 2 campaigns for Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day

Anawat Sangkhasap, senior vice president, customer strategy, for Robinson Public Co Ltd, said the department store expects the retail market to compete vigorously during the Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day.

“We plan to gain shoppers’ purchasing power, by spending over Bt25 million of our marketing budget on two major campaigns,” said Anawat. In the first campaign, “our department store debuts the year with Robinson Chinese New Year 2018 campaign’s Ang Bao promotion to bring love and money together under the ‘Luck & Love’ concept.”
Robinson Department Store will offer an up to 30 per cent discount on new products, with a chance to win one of the 25 one-baht gold pendants for the Year of Dog, a total worth over Bt1 million. There will be additional benefits to members and shoppers through to February 21.
Another major campaign is offered at their shopping malls. The “Robinson lifestyle’s Chinese New Year spreads world-class fortune, chapter: Love Destiny of the Lunar Elder” campaign will present special Ang Bao to all shoppers, including Lunar Elder’s lucky charms and discounts from leading stores, with a total worth of Bt1.5 million.
The retailer is also inviting shoppers to join in seven auspicious activities for fortune and entertainment: such as lunar elder worship, shop and taste eight auspicious foods, enjoy the Chinese entertainment, visit heavenly garden from Wutang Mountain, Chinese boy and girl contest, free mini concerts, and exclusive fortune telling sessions. These activities run from February 8 – 28 at 20 branches of Robinson Lifestyle nationwide.
“The campaigns present high value-to-money products and superior shopping experience that will benefit the Company,” said Anawat. We are aiming for a 15 per cent increase in customer counts and a growth in the total purchase.”
