Two injured in Yala bomb attack
A ranger and a villager were injured early Tuesday when Muslim insurgents detonated a roadside homemade bomb in an attack on a teacher protection unit in Yala.
The attack, about 50 metres from Ban Siyoh school, happened at 7.58am on a village road in Ban Siyoh village in Tambon Bangoi Sinae in Yaha district.
A ranger, Thawee Luaberluwong, who was riding his motorcycle to protect a group of teachers going to the school, was injured along with villager, Suwaibah Alikahae, who was passing by.
