Nakhonchai Saengmanee, Erawan district chief, said the storm hit several villages in Tambon Pha Sam Yod at 4.30pm, blanketing several roads with small hailstones.

The district chief rushed out to inspect the village immediately after the storm. 
He said the storm felled 10 large trees, blocking roads in Moo 9, and roofs of 20 village houses were damaged in Moo 5 and Moo 9. 
He said 10 power poles in the two villages were also toppled by the storm. The electricity in the two villages was cut off while the poles and power cables were repaired.

20 houses damaged by Loei hailstorm

A hailstorm hit Loei’s Erawan district on Wednesday evening, damaging 20 houses.
