Gunplay earns Sek Loso five days in jail
Controversial rock star Seksant “Sek Loso” Sukpimai was sentenced to five days’ imprisonment on Thursday for discharging a firearm in a Nakhon Si Thammarat temple.
The incident recorded on video, during which Seksant fired nine rounds from a pistol into the air, occurred during a concert at the temple in Phrom Khiri district on December 29.
He was also convicted of illegally carrying a gun in public.
His lawyer, Mongkolvichit Thanasopon, was applying for bail release and said he would contest the sentence in Appeals Court.
