Nonthaburi roads flooded after early morning rains

Pak Kret district in Nonthaburi province was battered by a heavy downpour early on Tuesday, causing floods on major roads.

The Pak Kret district was hit by heavy rains for about two hours beginning at about 4.30am.
The rains inundated the Chaeng Wattana Road section from the Klong Prapa intersection to Muang Thong Thani. The section of the road under the elevated expressway saw 15-20cm of water logging.
The inundation caused a two-kilometre-long queue of vehicles on the inbound Chaeng Wattana section.
The entrance to Muang Thong Thani town from Chaeng Wattana was under some 15cm of water.
Highway workers from the Nonthaburi office rushed to drain the floodwaters shortly after the rains stopped.
