Two men arrested for alleged poaching in Phitsanulok

The Nation Two men were arrested in Phitsanulok province on Friday for allegedly hunting a wild boar, park protection officials said.

Nipon Chamnongsirisak, director of the 11th Conservation Area in Phitsanulok of the National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation Department, said the two alleged hunters were arrested while riding their motorcycles back home after hunting along with their dogs.
They were spotted on Ban Den Lek-Ban Huay Moon Road in Tambon Huay Moon of Nam Pad district.
Both the motorcycles carried fertilizer bags filled with pork from the killed wild boar with a combined weight of 23 kilograms.
An unlicensed shotgun, two knives and an axe were seized from them.
They allegedly admitted they were returning after hunting a wild boar in Nam Pad Wildlife Sanctuary and were taking the meat home.
