Wife stabs husband with pair of scissors in Kathu
A 42-year-old man was stabbed in the neck and shoulder by his wife in Kathu on Monday night.
Police found Somporn Iadchang lying on the floor after being stabbed several times in a house in Soi Nakrob. He was taken to Vachira Hospital.
He had apparently been fighting with his wife, Kulasatree Laibut, 33, who lives with him, police said. She fled the scene after the incident, police said.
Somporn’s relatives went to the house to help him and called police.
Kulasatree surrendered to police and confessed that she used a pair of scissors to stab her husband. She said he tried to attack her first.
She said she threw the scissors away while running away from the house.–Phuket Gazette
