Burglar had meal before stealing motorcycle from repair shop in Phang Nga

A calm thief was caught on a security camera enjoying a meal and washing his plate before he stole a motorcycle and cash from a repair shop in Phang Nga.

The shop owner, Sitthikorn Phamaranon, 44, said the theft took place at 6.30pm on April 19 after his motorcycle repair shop closed.

Sitthikorn, whose shop is in Tambon Khuekkhak in Phang Nga's Takua Pa district, posted a clip from his shop's security camera on Monday, to help find the thief.

The clip showed a tall, lean man in a blue t-shirt and brown cap inside the shop. He sat at a desk in front of the shop before he walked to the back of the shop and helped himself to a dish of rice and other food. He refilled his plate and then washed the dish before he searched the premises.

Sitthikorn said Bt2,000 in cash and a Honda motorcycle were stolen during the 30-minute robbery.
The man also filled the motorcycle with five bottles of petrol from the shop before he fled.
