Fire damages three Bangkok townhouses

Fire damages three Bangkok townhouses

A fire broke out at a townhouse in Bangkok’s Bang Na district and spread to two others early on Wednesday, police said.

The owner of the first house suffered a broken ankle after he jumped from the second floor to escape the fire, which broke out at 2.30am on Soi Udomsuk 26.
Three fire engines took about half an hour to put out the blaze after it spread to the two next townhouses.
Police said the first townhouse had three residents, and the two others also escaped uninjured after the fire started from the ground floor.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
