Alms given to monks on Visakha Puja Day
Bangkok Metropolitan Administration governor Asawin Kwanmuang led Buddhists to give alms to 67 monks on Visakha Puja Day on Tuesday.
Aswin led BMA officials, officials from other agencies and state enterprises as well as members of the general public to make merit at Lan Khon Mueang in front of the Bangkok City Hall a 7am.
The BMA is also holding Buddhism Week to celebrate the Visakha Puja Festival 2018 at the Lan Khon Mueang until Tuesday.
