Job Ready Centres’ centres open nationwide

The Labour Ministry on Thursday opened “Job Ready Centres” in Bangkok and 10 other provinces to help university graduates and unemployed people find employment.

Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan presided at the opening of the centre at the Labour Ministry in Bangkok, alongside Minister Adul Sangsingkeo and permanent secretary Jarin Jakkapak.
Other centres are in Chiang Mai, Phitsanulok, Ayutthaya, Prachin Buri, Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Chon Buri, Rayong, Surat Thani and Songkhla.
Adul said the goals were to provide advice and match employers with workers who can meet their needs.
The centres would also provide some job training to the unemployed, Adul said.
