Princess offers support to flood-hit Laotians
Princess Ubolratana has joined the Thai community in expressing support for Laotians affected by the sudden massive flooding caused by the partial collapse of a dam under construction in the country’s southern province of Attapeu.
On her Instagram account, nichax, she drew a cartoon depicting a woman in Lao traditional costume and holding the Lao national flag in her hand.
On the photo she wrote the hashtag #PrayForLaos with her signature on it.
“I wish to send moral support to Laotians affected by the collapse of the dam. Besides this, we will send assistance to them. I wish to use this picture that I drew to support them to fight on.”
