Fire strikes Korean restaurant in Pattaya
A Korean restaurant in Pattaya went up in flames early on Thursday morning, police said. No one was injured.
The Pattaya police station was alerted to the fire at the Yang Mi Restaurant on South Pattaya Road in Chon Buri's Bang Lamung district at 4 am.
Eight fire engines took about an hour to put out the blaze after it swept through the shop
A neighbour told police that he smelt smoke and on seeing the flames, called the emergency services.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
