Ayutthaya pagoda no place for oddball poses

Ayutthaya pagoda no place for oddball poses

Foreign tourists behaving badly have again upset officials of the Ayutthaya Historical Park.

Sukanya Baonerd, the park’s director, filed a complaint with Muang Ayutthaya police on Friday morning, saying a foreigner had posted a photo on Instagram showing him or her posed upside down in front of an ancient pagoda with legs spread.
The tourist’s gender was not made clear and no name was given.
On Thursday the park uploaded several photos to its Facebook page of foreign tourists posing “improperly” among the temples and monuments.
Two photos show a man and a woman separately posing upside down in front of a pagoda and spreading their legs.
The other photos were of foreigners kissing in the park as they posed.
