Police arrest Bangkok drug ‘users’
A 50-strong team of police, army and administrative personnel searched five locations within the Ruamjai community in Bangkok's Bang Khun Thien district on Wednesday morning as part of a drug suppression operation.
During the searches at the community at the bottom of Soi Ekkachai 37, officers, accompanied by a sniffer dog, arrested seven suspected drug-takers - five of whom allegedly took ketamine and two took methamphetamine - and confiscated a shotgun along with nine cartridges, said deputy chief Pol Colonel Pong-anan Klaikleung, who led the raid.
