BMTA acting director Prayoon Chuaykaew said the service will help motorists beat traffic caused by the constructions of the Lard Prao-Samrong Yellow Route electric train and the National Cultural Centre-Min Buri Orange Route electric train.
The first special expressway bus route would help users of bus 145 running from Preakkasa Bordin to Morchit 2 terminal. Six air-conditioned buses will run every 30 minutes, he added.
The second special expressway route would be provided for users of bus 168 from Min Buri to the Victory Monument. Six buses will be used to provide the service every 20 minutes.
The free services will run from 6am to 9am and from 4pm to 6.30pm Prayoon added.
