3.5-magnitude quake hits Myanmar near Mae Hong Son

A 3.5-magnitude quake was recorded in Myanmar near Mae Hong Son early on Thursday, the Seismological Bureau of the Meteorological Department reported.

The bureau said the quake occurred at 3.34am with its epicentre about 254 kilometres northwest of Mae Hong Son's Muang district. The quake happened at a depth of 10 kilometres.
The bureau also reported that another 2.5-magnitude quake happened at the depth of 10 kilometres at the Myanmar-China border, about 162 kilometres northwest of Chiang Rai, at 6.34pm on Wednesday.
