Loei couple finds son dead from hanging
A man who had long suffered with a mental disorder committed suicide by hanging in his family’s home Loei sometime Sunday evening.
Police said the parents of Noom Kotewonsa, 35, awoke at 4am to find him sitting on top of the refrigerator with a rope around his neck tied to a ceiling beam.
A doctor determined that Noom had been dead for six to eight hours.
His parents said he had a mental disorder and had previously tried to set himself on fire.
