His Majesty to preside over opening ceremony of Suvarnabhumi bike lane
His Majesty the King will preside over the opening ceremony of the 23.5 kilometre bicycle lane around Suvarnabhumi Airport on November 23.
The Siam Commercial Bank, which built and manages the bike lane, said it will be closed to the public from November 12 to 24 to make preparations for the ceremony.
It will be re-opened on November 25.
SCB said His Majesty has also granted the name of "Happy and Healthy Bike Lane" for the facility, which is normally open to public from 6am to 9pm.
