Elderly man found hanged in Loei
A 73-year-old Loei man said to be suffering from depression for at least the past two years was found dead hanging from a tree on Monday morning.
Wang Saphung police were called to the scene in Moo 10, Tambon Pak Puan, at 9am and found Champa Ma-ngao hanged from a tree in a sugarcane plantation.
A doctor determined that he’d been dead for an hour or two.
Relatives discovering he wasn’t at home searched the plantation. They said he’d been dealing with depression for about two years.
