Bangkok hit by freak rains
Traffic snarls hit several Bangkok roads after the capital was hit by freak rains at noon on Saturday.
Heavy rains were reported in several parts of the city, including Huay Kwang, Sutthisarn, and Ratchadapisek.
The heavy rains and subsequent shallow floods caused long lines of traffic on Ratchadapisek Road from Soi 12.
The underpass under the Huay Kwang intersection was flooded and impassable for small cars during the deluge.
