12 Phuket meth suspects held
Twelve drug suspects have been arrested with almost 2kg of crystal methamphetamine (ice) and 137 meth pills in Phuket.
Officer first arrested two suspects and later arrested the other 10.
On November 18 officers arrested three drugs suspects, Suwat Tongtoe, 27, Wittaya Seesakrom, 27, and Keerati Yodpanya, 29.
Officers said they seized 57 grams of ice and 135 pills. They were arrested at Phuket Tani housing estate in Thalang and were charged with illegal possession with intent to sell.
On November 19 officers arrested 31-year-old Chanet Larpmee and a 19-year-old woman in Chalong. Officers seized 107 grams of ice, motorbikes and a handmade pistol with one bullet. They have also been charged with illegal possession with intent to sell.
Finally, officers arrested Niarrong Rleena, 23, Muhammatsukree Madae, 25, Atcharokee Malee, 33, Muhammat Kora, 27, and Jaesawa Wanjae, 47. They were arrested in a rented room in Wichit. Officers seized 1.8kg of ice.
