Motorcyclist dies in Koh Kaew crash
A motorcyclist has died at the scene of an accident after colliding with a power pole in Koh Kaew.
Phuket City police said the incident on Thepkrasattri Road near the entrance of the Bang Khu underpass happened early this morning.
Eakkarat Saelim, 20, from Nakhon Si Thammarat was taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital. His damaged motorbike was nearby.
Police believe Eakkarat was heading from Phuket Town to Thalang. It appears he lost control of his motorbike and collided with the pole.
Police are checking CCTV to determine the cause of the crash.
