Up to100 eggs were found after a turtle laid her eggs on the beach last month. 
The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources on Monday reported that CCTV footage had been checked and showed that the leatherback&rsquo;s nest was safe on Tasai Beach after a temporary 20 metres of sand had been added as a barrier against any potential impact from waves caused by storm Pabuk.

The leatherback sea turtle nest of eggs found on a Phang Nga beach in Tai Mueang a few weeks ago has been checked and is safe following last Friday and Saturday’s bad weather.
