His Majesty the King graciously had a privy councillor and the Raja Prachanukroh Foundation deliver 2,000 blankets and bags of necessities to residents of three districts in Surin on Monday.

Privy Councillor Air Chief Marshall Jom Rungsawang represented His Majesty to hand out the blankets at a ceremony held at Jom Phra Prachasan School’s meeting hall.
The blankets were given to 1,000 residents of Chom Phra district, 500 residents of Non Narai district and 500 residents of Sanom district.
Apart from the blankets, His Majesty had the Raja Prachanukroh Foundation prepare bags of necessities for needy recipients with the proceeds from the “Un Ai Rak” fair in Bangkok.
The privy councillor also read out a message of concern from the King for people affected by the cold spell in the northeastern province.
After the ceremony at the school, Jom visited two bedridden men – Ked Ngaongam, 68, and Khoon Sukkrai, 70 – in Moo 12 village of Chom Phra district’s Tambon Jom Phra to hand out a blanket and a bag of necessities to each of them.
