A security guard, Somboon Naononethong, 56, said he was manning a booth at the gate of the factory when he was alerted by a passing motorcyclist that smoke was billowing from the factory building.
Somboon then alerted other security guards to try to put out the fire, but it escalated and spread quickly so he called police.
Police have yet to identify the cause of the fire.
