Two Uzbekistan women arrested for allegedly stealing from Pakistani tourist in Pattaya

Pattaya police have arrested two Uzbekistan women for allegedly stealing Bt21,000 in cash, a smartphone and an ATM card from a Pakistani man.

Pattaya police chief Pol Col Apichai Krobphet held a press conference at the police station on Thursday to announce the arrest of Akhmadiva Nargiza, 29, and Sidikova Nasiba, 43.
The two were arrested at the Pattaya Walking Street on Wednesday and police found Samsung Galaxy S9+ and an ATM card of Al Habib Bank in their rented room.
They are accused of stealing cash and valuables from Shakeel Ahmed, 35, from his Pattaya hotel room on Monday night.

Ahmed filed a complaint with police on Tuesday that he met the two women at a pub on the Pattaya Walking Street and took them to his hotel room. He said he woke up to find that his cash, smartphone and ATM card disappeared.
Police also found that Nasiba's visa had expired.
The two were charged with committing theft and Nasiba was also charged with overstaying her visa.
