Co-working community sets up startup competition
Hubba, a Thai co-working space and startup community has collaborated with IP Trading Ltd, a Thai manufacturer and distributor of consumer goods, in organising the Hubba Accelerator powered by the IP Trading project in order to seek out the best startups.
Those selected teams will attend free business training and present their business ideas to Thai and foreign investors. The project also offers a chance to win Bt500,000 and business partnership opportunities, it said. Applications are accepted until February 22.
The programme's sponsor, IP Trading, produces consumer goods under brands such as Hygiene (laundry products), Vixol and Whiz (household cleaning) and Dance and Focus (personal care).
The company says it is determined to help Thai startups identify opportunities for partnerships and business expansion along with Hubba. Another partner is Investible, an Australia-based early-stage investment group that provides high-potential entrepreneurs with the resources to scale a business.
