Wearing a wig, he apparently tried to disguise himself as he walked into the Bang Khen District Office to cast his ballot.
Police, however, were on alert there after they found his name as a person registered for advance voting.
Nattawat reportedly noticed one policeman signal another policemen to keep a watch on him once inside the district office. S, he ran away and entered the nearby Phra Si Mahathat Bang Khen Temple and reportedly jumped into its pond.
Once police arrived at the temple, they found only his shoes. Security guards at the temple said the man jumped into the water shrugging off their pleas.
