Trang woman killed at Bangkok railway station
A Trang woman was killed at Bangkok’s Taling Chan Railway Station on Wednesday morning when she jumped from a moving train, anxious to remain with a relative who’d disembarked.
Mali Wichit, 58, had taken the train to Bangkok to attend a younger relative’s school commencement and planned to get off at Hua Lamphong station.
When a relative travelling with her detrained at Taling Chan, Mali made a tardy decision to join her.
The train was already in motion by the time she jumped off at 6am and she fell onto the track beneath the coach.
The body, sliced in two, was sent to Police Hospital for an autopsy.
