Prawit votes at Bangkok polling station

Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan cast his vote at a polling station on Soi Lat Phrao 71 in Bangkok’s Wang Thong Lang district on Sunday morning.

Prawit arrived at the 10th polling station of Bangkok’s Constituency 8 at 8am and checked his name, which was 726th on the list.
The queues at the station were already long when he arrived. Prawit waited in the line for his ballot along with other voters.
After casting his ballot, Prawit said he would like people to come out in full force to vote for the sake of the country's development and prosperity.
Prawit said he had not given any special instructions regarding law and order, as intelligence agencies had not detected any threats so far.
Before coming to the polling station, Prawit got up early to exercise in his house on Soi Lat Phrao 71.
In the afternoon, he will travel to the First Infantry Regiment to monitor the situation.
