Sathit Chantharangsi or Uncle Mee left Chiang Mai on February 16 for Narathiwat Hospital, also hoping to raise funds for Songkhla and Pattani hospitals. 
He reached Songkhla Hospital on Wednesday where his staff tightened loose bolts on his wheelchair. 
Next is Pattani Hospital and he is hoping to reach Narathiwat in 15 days. 
Sathit said he may have to travel by truck to avoid areas in Pattani and Narathiwat where there are security concerns.

A 56-year-old man, who left Chiang Mai in February in his wheelchair to raise funds for three southern hospitals, has reached Songkhla.
