A palanquin holding the Golden Royal Plaques that bear the King&rsquo;s full name and horoscope, and the Royal Seal of State, all ritually engraved in the ubosot of the temple at the Grand Palace on April 23, was&nbsp;moved to the Baisal Daksin Throne Hall, where the coronation ceremony will be held on Saturday.&nbsp;

One hundred and thirteen representatives of five government agencies participated in the procession, accompanied by the sounds of golden and silver drums, horns and conch shells.&nbsp; 
Once at the Throne Hall, a distance of 220 metres, the Lord Chamberlain ACM Satitpong Sukvimol lifted the tray holding the plaques and Royal Seal out of the palanquin and placed it on a pedestal inside.

The first procession for His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn's coronation has begun, with the first in a series of processions setting out from the Temple of the Emerald Buddha at 10am on Friday.
