Myanmar migrant nabbed allegedly smuggling six compatriots to Koh Samui

A Myanmar man was arrested along with six undocumented Myanmar migrants on Koh Samui in Surat Thani province on Thursday morning, police said.

Kin Saw, 21, who has is a documented worker on Koh Samui, was arrested at a bridge in Moo 1 village in Tambon Mae Nam while allegedly aiding six undocumented migrants, said police.

He was charged with helping undocumented aliens to sneak into the country and attempting to hide them.

The seven were taken to the Samui police station to face charges, after which they will be deported.
