Spanish social laundry company Mr Jeff Laundry seeks Thai franchisees
A Spanish laundry company that works through an app and operates in more than 10 countries with more than 370 franchises, mainly in Spain and Latin America, aims to open more than 50 franchises in Thailand by year end.
The professional laundry service Mr Jeff said in a media release on Monday that it will revolutionise the country’s laundry and dry cleaning sector by offering on-demand and monthly subscription options and a strong new media presence in addition to its stores, the “Mr Jeff Hubs”.
Putting an emphasis on convenient solutions through its app, an online website and stores, the company now operates in 10 countries, and is expanding internationally including in Thailand.
Mr Jeff also provides valuable opportunities for investors in a market above US$200 million (Bt6.1 billion), according to the release.
“With our digital approach and our subscriptions plans, we intend to change the traditional function of the dry-cleaning sector. Thailand is one of the countries in which maximum revenue is expected,” said Julio Suero, Mr Jeff’s head of expansion for Asia.
The franchise model has proven successful as the company’s work force has witnessed exceptional growth with more than 300 direct employees and more than 1,100 indirect employees.
In addition to becoming a part of an innovative and technologically advanced company, franchisees will receive marketing and partner support from the professional teams of Mr Jeff, who will be working to help them to reach their break-even point, according to the release.
