Three killed, five injured in Prachin Buri road crash

Three persons were killed and five others injured when their car exited curve on a Prachin Buri road and crashed against a tree in the early hours of Tuesday morning, police said.

The Muang Prachin Buri police station was alerted at 2.30am about the accident, which occurred in front of an Army residential area on the Prachin Thani road in Ban None Din Daeng village in Tambon Ban Phra of Muang district. The occupants of the car were returning home from a birthday party.
Police said Ratanaporn Siributr, 19, and Nattapol Iamthat, 28, died at the scene. The two were hurled out of the car on impact.
The driver, Itthi Iamthat, 25, died at the Apai Phubet Hospital.
Police said a 14-year-old girl, Natthacha Inthawong, was rushed to an Army hospital in the Chakkrapong Fort while the other four severely injured individuals identified as Chokchai Decha, 28, Kulphitha Sikaew, 14, Piyanart Darayen, 29, and Atchara Yubolni, 14, were sent to the Apai Phubet Hospital. 
Police said the eight went to a pub to celebrate Nattapol’s birthday in Muang district and were returning home after the pub closed. The driver lost control at the curve and hit a tree then the road island.
