Top cashless payment platform teams up with ThaiTicketMajor
PouchNATION, the leading platform providing cashless payment service to event organisers in Southeast Asia, has teamed up with ThaiTicketMajor, the top ticket distributor in Thailand.
Koen van Geene, PouchNATION's director/Thailand, said the company would support ThaiTicketMajor with its technological platform which works through the Near Field Communication (NFC) wristband.
“Those who wear a wristband can top up in advance, allowing them to spend cashlessly for food, drink, or other products at an event” he said.
“Moreover, all transactions can be done offline via the gadget. PouchNATION works well in a crowed place, or in a faraway place where internet signal is unavailable."
ThaiTicketMajor’s deputy managing director Komkrit Sirirat said the company aims to develop into a full cashless service provider, in order to reduce fraud, increase payment speed, and gather information.
These are key factors in realising the company's objective, he said, adding that “ besides, the cooperation with Pouch will further strengthen ThaiTicketMajor's position as the top seller in Thailand ”.
