Move on NCPO orders voted down

In a vote on Wednesday (December 4), the coalition government overturned the opposition's motion to set up an extraordinary committee to study impacts of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO)'s orders issued under Section 44 of the interim charter.

There were 244 votes against the motion, five in favour and six abstentions.
