Occupying 30,000 square metres, the exhibition had sections devoted to RVs, log cabins, outdoor equipment, low-altitude flights and camping goods.&nbsp; 
Organiser Red Sail MICE, the “Self-driving Tour of Hainan” specially planned for the expo took visitors from all over the country on drives around Hainan. 
The China Camping Tourism Forum and training courses on rating self-driving destinations and RV camps were held at the same time.&nbsp; 
Hainan strongly supports the development of RV camping, launching measures to promote the construction of routes and high-quality camps.&nbsp; 
The province plans to devote greater effort to the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Zone and an international tourism consumption centre.

Hainan camping exposition attracts 50,000 visitors

The Hainan Camping Exposition held from December 27-29 in Haikou, capital of China’s southern island province, drew an estimated 50,000 visitors keen to see the latest recreational vehicles and outdoor camping equipment – including the self-driving variety.
