Isolated thundershowers likely in Central region
A weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea while the westerly trough at high altitude is still blowing cold air from the Himalayas to the North of Thailand, the Thai Meteorological Department said.
Cool mornings and cold weather are still forecast with possible isolated patchy fog but fair skies during the day in the North and the Northeast. On mountaintops, cool to cold weather is forecast with minimum in the range of 2-14 degrees Celsius.
The southeasterly winds prevailing across the lower Central region, including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East will bring isolated thundershowers. All transport should proceed with caution in foggy areas, the department said.
The weak easterly winds across the Gulf and southern Thailand will reduce rains in the South.
