Operators of the complex say the precautionary and preventative measures they’ve taken meet MICE Security Management System (TIS 22300) standards for public safety.
These include:
• Hand sanitisers at the main entrances to the buildings and meeting rooms and in restrooms
• Thermal scanners at the main entrances to the buildings and all entry points to events.
“Potentially infected individuals will be isolated and monitored closely for symptoms.”
• Thermal guns carried by staff members for checking visitors’ body temperature, and a first-aid room for medical professionals to screen people
• Collaboration with medical professionals at the Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute
• Printed materials to be distributed to raise awareness about the virus
• Increased frequency of cleaning buildings, event spaces, food-and-beverage areas, restrooms and all common areas using chemical disinfectants
• Facemasks available for event attendees at screening points, plus designated waste containers for their later disposal
