THAI adjusts flight frequency to China for February

Thai Airways International Pcl (THAI) has adjusted its flight frequency in order to match current changes to flight demand as the Chinese government has prohibited inbound and outbound flights from Wuhan and other cities in the vicinity that may pose potential risks following the new coronavirus outbreak, the airline said. 
Nond Kalinta, THAI vice president of the sales department, said changes to flights to and from China between February 6-29 will be as follows:
1 On the Bangkok-Beijing-Bangkok route, THAI has reduced from two flights per day to one flight per day from February 8-29.
2 On the Bangkok-Shanghai-Bangkok route, reduced from two flights per day to one flight per day from February 10-29.
3 On the Bangkok-Guangzhou-Bangkok route, reduced from two flights per day to one flight per day from February 8-29.
4 On the Bangkok-Chengdu-Bangkok route, reduced from seven flights per day to five flights per day from February 6-27.
5 On the Bangkok-Kunming-Bangkok route, reduced from seven flights per day to three flights per day from February 6-29.
6 On the Bangkok-Xiamen-Bangkok route, reduced from four flights per day to two flights per day from February 6-27.
THAI will closely monitor the situation and strictly implement preventive measures against the outbreak of the novel coronavirus for gaining passenger confidence, Nond said.
