SET Index up slightly after plunging on Monday

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index ended at 1,439.10 points today (February 25), a slight increase of 3.54 points, or 0.25 per cent, compared to Monday’s close.

The daily trade volume was Bt80.966 billion, with an index high of 1,446.63 and a low of 1,416.40.
Krungsri Securities analysts expected the SET Index to fall to between 1,420 and 1,425 points as investments were under pressure owing to the rapid increase in the number of new Covid-19 patients in South Korea, Iran and Italy.
The outstanding stocks recommended by Krungsri Securities for investment are KCE, Hana, Delta, CPF, TU, MTC, Sawad, KTC, Advanc, Intuch, and TTW.
Elsewhere in Asia, China’s Shanghai SE Composite Index closed at 3,013.05, down 18.18 points, or 0.60 per cent.
Shenzhen SE Component Index ended the day at 11,856.08, up 83.71 points, or 0.71 per cent. 
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng closed at 26,893.23, up 72.35 points, or 0.27 per cent. 
South Korea’s Kospi ended at 2,103.61, up 24.57 points, or 3.87 per cent.
