BDMS to make tender offer for Bumrungrad shares

The board of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) on February 26 approved the company to launch a conditional voluntary tender offer for the remaining shares of Bumrungrad Hospital Plc (BH), according to its filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand on Wednesday (February 26).

BDMS currently owns 24.99 per cent of BH. The BH securities BDMS will make the tender offer for include 546,328,351 ordinary shares, 1,210,865 preference shares and all convertible debentures.
The company will make the tender offer for all shares at Bt125 per share totalling Bt85.612 billion.
The BDMS board also approved an increase in the registered capital to Bt1.668 billion, from the previous Bt1.589 billion, by issuing 794.6 million new shares for sale through private placement.
BDMS reported a net profit in 2019 of Bt15.517 billion, increasing 69 per cent from the same period in 2018, or Bt9.191 billion. Total revenue for 2019 was Bt83.774 billion, up 7 per cent over 2018.
