Energy Minister Sontirat Sontijirawong said today (March 3) that the Cabinet must work together to solve many issues, including listening to protesting students and dealing with the Covid-19 coronavirus, which is affecting the economy.

“A Cabinet reshuffle after the no-confidence debate will depend on the prime minister,” he said.

Referring to students’ moves to organise protest rallies against the government, Sontirat said it is their right to do so under the constitution, and the Cabinet needs to listen to their opinions.

“Meanwhile, I want to set up a central forum for exchanging ideas,” he added. “I think these discussions will be of benefit and I believe many parties want to see the country move forward.”
