Hot to very hot weather forecast for upper Thailand, rains ease in the South

The Thailand Meteorological Department forecast on Wednesday (March 11) that a thermal low covers upper Thailand, making the weather hot to very hot in the East, Central and North.

Meanwhile, the weak westerly winds across the Gulf bring less rain to the South. From March 13-16, another high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea where many areas of the upper country will have hot to very hot conditions.
The southwesterly winds will bring humidity from the South China Sea to the Northeast, the East, the Central and the lower North regions. This will also bring summer thunderstorms with thundershowers, gusty winds, hail, and lighting over the upper country.
